If you polled the public, what do you think the result would be?
And I'm excluding basketball because frick they're all the same indoors except the old Boston Garden.
Fenway? Wrigley? Rose Bowl? Coliseum? The Big House? Soldier Field? Touchdown Jesus? Lambeau Field?
I'm not talking best stadiums, I'm talking about iconic...like time capsule this is what American sports was all about.

Gotta be Yankee Stadium... or simply known as “the Stadium”

The big house does not belong in this category

I am not from there so no homer but The Superdome has probably had as many big events as any.

Solid quarantine post.
Rose Bowl
LA Coliseum
Wrigley
Fenway
Also, depending how it’s expanded:
Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Speedway
Churchill Downs
To pick one LA Coliseum

Fenway or Wrigley. Before the new one, it would have been Yankee Stadium.

Fenway/Wrigley have maintained the classic feel better than football stadiums have except for maybe the Rose Bowl.
For the NFL it’s prob either Lambeau or Soldier Field.
Personal faves would be the Dome (homer) and Arrowhead.

I don’t know why you excluded basketball... Madison Square Garden might top the list...

I know I'm in the minority but to me the Rose Bowl Game and the Rose Bowl Stadium are the most overrated mystique in sports.
It shut out all but 2 conferences for years which should alienate a lot of people. It's a bland stadium, especially compared to the Coliseum. It's a little brother to USC. I never understood the fascination with it.

Fenway
Rose Bowl
Lambeau
Wrigley
Superdome
I’m assuming “stadium” means that MSG doesn’t count, but it’s obviously up there as a venue.
Oregon’s Hayward Field was pretty iconic for track fans.

Historically - Yankee Stadium (1976 - 2008)
Contemporary - Jerry World as much as I hate to say it.
Historical but still in use - Fenway
