What's up with the camera angle for the Duke game?

Weird as hell

Cameron is small and weird. When they show the announcers sitting up top they're basically sitting in the rafters.

Arent all Duke games like that?

The angle hasn't always been like this has it? I really feel like I remember them having a more standard angle for cameras in past broadcasts. Maybe I'm thinking about neutral site games.
I guess it has. I guess I'm remembering the angle from neutral site games.

Duke games are always weird camera angles.

I’ve always liked it. instant reminder that it’s a tiny, tiny gym

Cameron indoor is really small, makes for a weird camera angle.

It’s a good view. You can see the 2-3 zone and all the players.

There’s two angles. One like the screengan you posted and then the up-close angle they use more frequently. The first angle isn’t used as commonly but it’s often the one you’ll see coming back from a commercial or after a dead ball.

Zion may be the most fun player to watch in recent memory.

RJ Barrett is the most selfish player I have ever seen in a Duke jersey.

I think it’s always been like that. A long time ago Indiana used a way too low TV camera angle at their arena.

Just saw an smu game with the same weird angle. I wonder if this is a new ESPN thing.
It's like a coaches tape angle.
