Running speed and endurance
lifting
reflexes

Honestly, most are.
Basketball is weird. You have extremely unathletic, unskilled guys in it that are there simply because of there size. You also have guys in it who have very little skill, but are there simply because of their freakish athleticism.
It be like if baseball had guys who could throw 101 mph with no aim whatsoever.
What? How easy do you think it is to play basketball at the NBA level?

I thought we agreed to disagree?
Anyway, the NPA has studies that say 80% of pitching velocity comes from hip to shoulder separation. Guys like Chapman get optimal hip to shoulder separation because they are explosive and get triple extension before their front foot lands. That great external rotation that Chapman has is just the final part of the process. He's converting all the speed and power into the arm.

Marathons require constant activity for 2 hours. Are they athletic or just durable?
The answer is baseball
The answer is baseball

So then how do we all go about deciding what events that every human is capable of doing so we can equally compare them and answer the question.
Running speed and endurance
lifting
reflexes
Ignoring that Manning can toss footballs accurately
Ignoring that Gretzky can skate
Ignoring that Jordan came shoot a basketball
Ignoring that Ronaldo can kick a soccer ball
Ignoring that Bonds can hit a 100mph fast ball
Using this I would have to say on Average
Soccer and hockey players are the most athletic.
If we comparing the top 25% Athletes then the NFL and NBA would have the most athletic people
Sports that don't require constant movement are prone to have most nonathletic people. I'd say Baseball or Football has the most nonathletic individuals just due to the nature of the sport.

This question is very difficult. Are we talking about the sports in general, or the pro leagues.
Because in high school, I was a really good football player. Decent athleticism, I was able to try out for the soccer team senior year for the first time, make it and get decent playing time just because of my pure athleticism as compared to everybody else. I also believe pro soccer players are some of the best athletes around...
But imo, my definition of athleticism is simple. Its all physical, meaning runnng, jumping, coordination, fluidity, etc. Say how fast can you run 10 yards, stop, and run 10 yards the oppositie way. Things of that nature. Sport specific skills like shooting a basketball, pitching a fastball, etc has no bearing on athleticism
Anyways my list- based on the pro leagues
1. Basketball
2. Soccer
3. Hockey
4. Football
5. Baseball
Every sport has athletes, nonathletes, and freak athletes. So I'm just kind of basing this on average. Note, I'm not saying that baseball players are unathletic. Because I would definitely be lying. I just think as compared to the other sports listed, they are on average less average.
