Josh Johnson should get a mention just for being on a roster every year since 2008, and he’s been everywhere.

I do not consider Morall as a career backup. He was starter for the Colts in SB 3, he also started over Unitas in Super Bowl V. It was not until the Dolphins he became a true back up, but he did save the Dolphins. That is why I went with Strock, backed up Woodely and Marino, had one year as a starter in Cleveland.

3× Super Bowl champion (V, VII, VIII)
NFL champion (1968)
NFL Most Valuable Player (1968)
NFL Comeback Player of the Year (1972)
2× First-team All-Pro (1968, 1972)
2× Pro Bowl (1957, 1968)
NFL passer rating leader (1972)
NFL passing touchdowns leader (1968)
Dolphins Walk of Fame (2012)
Consensus All-American (1955)

ETA: Strock wasn't on the '72 Dolphins

Yeah, I didn't word (nor spell) that well. It is crazy though that they (Morrall and Strock) played together behind Griese for four years. I was a huge Dolphins fan as a kid. frick the World Football League.

Earl Morrall, he won the NFL MVP in relief of Johnny Unitas in 68 and led them to the NFL championship that year

One of the McCowns.

Matt Flynn got paid twice off of basically 1 game at GB against an all time terrible Detroit team so of the list he may be the answer. But Daniels has been around for almost 15 years now.

Didn’t Flynn sign two big time contracts with Seattle and The Raiders?

Todd Collins has to be in the conversation - 16 year career as a back up.

Todd Bouman from Ruthton, MN (pop 230) and a St. Cloud State University grad somehow had a 13 year NFL career.

Strock and Reich are the first two that come into mind but Gary Kubiak and Matt Cavanaugh are decent suggestions too.

Jason Garrett should be on the list. Career backup, who won a couple of games. Parlayed that into being Jerrah's boy and fleeced the Cowboys as a head coach. Then suckered NBC into letting him be on TV.
