As a pretty big Braves fan my entire life, I honestly do not know who our biggest/most hated team rivalry we play. It’s almost like we don’t really have one.

I would probably venture to say the Dodgers because I hate them with a passion. Plus the whole LA vs ATL city beef with Hollywood and East coast / west coast rapper/gang scenes.

You’re confusing Atlanta for NYC. Atlanta isn’t holding down the East Coast cultural scene.

I’ve thought about the Mets and I know a lot of Mets fans and ATL is nowhere near the top of their rivalry team

No

Last time I checked, film and production studios in California are not relocating to NY - they are relocating to ATL

Mets

If the Braves aren’t their rival, the Mets need to figure it out. Five consecutive division championships for the Braves.

We’re the Astros?

We hated the Braves but did Braves fans give a shite?

The truth is it varies - Mets, Nats, Phillies. I feel like there were probably multi-year stretches where we were pretty hostile to the Cards and Astros back in the day, and obviously we got crossways with Miami for a few years (although I don't think that runs too deep).

I guess the Mets might be the top consistent foe but I don't seethe with hatred for the Mets or anything and I don't think most Braves fans do. Maybe that would change if they won more. Mets fans seem pretty annoyed with the Braves on social media and pitch fits every year about us and the division or the Braves locking up young talent, but I agree it's not even like a Falcons-Saints thing.

The most recent Braves “rivalry” was the Mets whenever the game featured Chippier at Shea Stadium. Their hate for him built it.

Now with Philly, DC, and NY Mets in closer proximity with each other, it’s just hard to get a true division rivalry as they all seem to rotate who’s is decent every couple of years, except the Mets cause they always suck.
