he barely won a single title nearly 20 years ago with garnett, pierce, and Allen. he has coached about 100 legends since then and produced not much. I find it hard to believe in 2025 that there isn't a better basketball coach out there for the Milwaukee bucks....maybe im wrong and they reach the finals

2010 Celtics didn’t like him enough to not get arse blasted on the offensive glass in game 7 of the finals. Gasol and Bynum rag dolled Doc’s team in that one.

Always thought he was a highly respected black coach. The league gripes about the lack of black coaches, so why get rid of a black coach with a title.

He’s 100% an insanely overrated coach. Was about to get fired before he got gifted ray Allen and Kevin Garnett. Won a title and then has been gifted teams with at least 2 all nba players on each one he’s coached and constantly under performs in the playoffs.

He’s a players coach aka he doesn’t do shite and the players like him. That’s the only reason he keeps getting jobs.

Yeah he had fun guy K Leonard and Paul George nearly in their prime on the same team and couldn't win with them.

Yeah one was in the western semifinals against Denver. When you blow 3-1 leads that is just bad coaching and nothing more.
