The horrible pain that former Clippers owner Donald Sterling caused his team when his private convo was leaked was devastating.
Doc being the Clippers HC at the time and knowing before taking the job that Sterling’s character was questionable took the job because of the money and the three superstars on the team.
After the convo leak, the team couldn’t go on. Doc’s feelings were hurt but he heroically continued to cash his paychecks from Sterling and begged his team of superstars to go on even though their feelings were hurt too
, because he wanted to win a championship to help ease all the devastating pain they were all going through.
Doc, lead his team of underachieving superstars to yet another of his many playoff failures as a coach.

His mixture of calming charm and being black has caused him to become an incredibly overrated coach.

Update….The great Doc Rivers has his Bucs down 0-2 in the best of 7 series with the Pacers. Can he coach his team to a playoff series comeback win? Me think yes he can.
