Why isn't Troy Aikman all f'd up with CTE?

Aikman suffered chronic concussion issues throughout his career. He was forced to retire early in part to his proclivity for getting concussions. He reached the point where simple, non-violent tackles were capable of giving him one. This was back when nobody really gave a crap about concussions either. Meaning for it to be deemed a problem then, it was a serious damn problem.
Aikman's most famous concussion anecdote was that he suffered a severe concussion during the NFC championship game at the end of the 93 season against the 49'ers. He played the rest of that game, then played the following week in the Super Bowl. He says he remember's nothing about the Super Bowl week, including playing in the Super Bowl.
Seems like if any ex-player should be a poster-child for CTE it's him.

CTE isn't necessarily outwardly noticeable like Parkinsons. A lot of the symptoms are psychological and emotional and if you don't want to share them, it's easy to keep them quiet.
Suicides are one example of the spinoff effects of CTE.
Also, it's not easy to test for while the person is living. From my understanding, postmortem brain autopsy is the major way to tell.

I don't know if it gets more all american than a 3 time Superbowl champion for the Dallas Cowboys named Troy.

He has willingly sat in a booth with Joe Buck for years. That alone should call his mental faculties into question

Nah that just means if he develops mental trauma, it's due to extended close proximity to Joe Buck, not football

Like Aaron Hernandez and his homosexuality.
