I've been to every SEC stadium so I'll leave those out. My favorite road trips so far have been to UW in 2009 and WVU in 2011. UW still had the track around the field then so the end zone seats felt like you were sitting 1 mile away. The setting is unreal though. All of the rented boats by LSU fans blasting "I'm on A Boat" all day was good times.

I'm looking forward to Austin in a few weeks.

I haven’t been to many college football stadiums. Mostly MAC schools, so here’s a couple pictures of Peden Stadium at Ohio University.

Cajun Field at ULL embodies everything about South Louisiana. Love how it's built into the slope of the ground itself.

Southern University Jaguar National deep in that pic! Responsible for the top attendance record in that stadium as well as the 3rd largest crowd.

Supposedly the inspiration for the original design of Tiger Stadium. Both with nods to the old Roman Coliseum, of course.

Husky Stadium is #1 among college stadiums I've been to. Just a beautiful setting and good acoustics so things can get loud.

The Coliseum and Rose Bowl in LA would be my next tier. They're cool and have so much history, the downside is the bowl setup doesn't really do much for crowd involvement.

Cal's stadium is underrated. It's in a pretty location in the Berkley hills and you get the greenery and can see all the way down to the bay outside of it.

Ryan Field - Northwestern

Kinnick Stadium - Iowa

Amon Carter - Tcu

Scott Sadiun - Virginia

I’ve heard good things of Autzen stadium

About as intimate as you can get but it's a pain in the arse because it's like watching a game in an airplane hanger with a jet engine roaring.

It's built into the ground so as soon as you walk into it you're in the upperdecks.

You feel like you're on top of the field...one of the few venues where it doesn't feel like you're a million miles away from the action.

Perfectly situated on campus in the quintessential college town. Pretty unique because we keep it open on the west end and you can see the campus and the stadium if viewing from the bridge. And then the gorgeous fall sunsets (no homo) on a October/November Saturday night is hard to beat.

Not including LSU, and only including stadiums I have been to:

The Big House

Happy Valley

Sanford Stadium

The Swamp

Puskar Stadium

I only chose my top 5. All of these could be included in the list.
TAMu
Bama
Auburn
Tennessee

Ole Miss, Arkansas (Fay) and Arkansas (LR) are not great stadiums.

I mean putting ole Miss and war memorial in the same sentence as DWRRS is just crazy.

The top is after the latest renovation.

I don't know if I just have too many memories of losing big games in DWRRS or what but I've always thought it was just meh. It's nice but in a stadium of "only" 70k there shouldn't be so many seats that are as bad as there are at RRS. I haven't been since the most recent renovation but the upper deck is awful. They should have filled out the bowl completely first IMO. War Memorial is a dump but there really isn't a bad seat in the house.

I've only been to maybe 4-5 stadiums but Bama's would be very hard to beat. In all seriousness, if I had to name one flaw it would be that everything about it is exactly what you'd expect in an elite stadium and there's nothing specifically unique about it.

Out of curiosity, what do you like about Ryan Field? No offense intended, but the only reason I find the stadium entertaining is because visiting teams take over. Makes for fun tailgates, etc.
