Sam Elliot can't go wrong. Never seen Faith Hill act.
Looks good. There have been a few really intense movies about the Oregon Trail.
That ol' can shoot and kill anyone in the New Territories because there ain't law around since they left the Mississippi river.
So no surprise it shows an ambush and killings right off the bat and acts like it's no big deal. Hell the Mormons massacred a wagon train on the Oregon Trail because they had the gall to pass through Utah.

He was my favorite actor in the 80s. But around the time of Philadelphia, Castaway, and Catch Me if You Can, I started getting sick of hearing what a great actor he is and how it's impossible not to like the guy.
I think that he's incredibly overhyped and overrated, as an actor and as a person.
