Why?
Is Aslan going to be female or will they just deepen Streep’s voice?
If they are ultimately changing the tone of her voice, why pick her?

As an aside, Narnia should be considered a dead property.

Her deep reverence is to making sure that all artistic properties are twisted to fit her political narrative.
