The film takes place during one day in a cess pool. Will-less Dullard is a rich-arse guy who is addicted to money. He has a close friend that is not only a criminal, but a big time criminal, who he agrees to rob a bank with. They shoot and kidnap a cop and then kidnap a poor EMT that was only getting paid $20/hr to help people, but Michael Bay has made Will-less Dullard the protagonist and not the EMT or officer.

John Q was basically just a commentary on the healthcare industry and somewhat the media. Based on that trailer this is more Dog Day Afternoon/Heat/Den of Thieves ripoff with some chases so Bay can explode stuff than commentary.
