That one hurts. #2 on my “please don’t die” list and they left #1 behind.
Just spitballing here, but I wonder if Luthen will take a dive to protect Mon Mothma sometime down the road. He's not doing this for himself, and he knows the senator is their most important piece. And he's also not around for Rogue One.

I think he goes down for Andor
on a personal note, I don’t think these three episode releases are for me lol I’ll have to go back and watch them again tomorrow. I dosed off I can’t tell you how many times

Ep 1 was meh to me. The story with the starving rebels is not interesting in the least & is comically annoying.
Cassian is a skilled pilot, but they made him look like an idiot.
And why are the scenes so short? By the time the dialogue gets interesting, scene.
The writing just isn't on par with S1, which was about flawless.

Hope it improves after the first three episodes like last season. Pretty bad so far.
Finished. Should have just called Ep. 3 Mon Mothma Dance Party.

There are reasons pilots have to get checked off on things. This was a prototype, and he even said in the communique (ep 3) that he hadn't been trained to fly this. Sounded like he didn't know the controls that well, nor the maneuverability.

I didn't mind this block, but yeah, you need to see all 3 to get satisfaction.

I’ve accepted their fates but I’m holding out hope for Bee. Speaking of droids, I can’t wait for K2’s introduction.

A review I read said the first three were the weakest by far.
I'm only one episode in. May get both of the others in tonight.

And just like Season 1, each chapter gets more and more intense and action-packed. My brief warning for viewers is simply this: The first three episodes are easily the slowest and least exciting of the bunch. There’s still plenty of action and tension but a lot of the first chapter is devoted to establishing the stakes, similar to how the first three episodes of the first season functioned.

In other words, don’t judge the entire season based on tonight’s premiere. While I enjoyed these episodes a great deal, I would also argue they’re the weakest of the bunch. That being said, there are some genuinely terrific moments, especially in Episode 3. This isn’t meant as a dig at the opening chapter by any means.

I have hope just because the 1st season started out weak, but it was boring. A lot of these episodes was boring and stupid. The whole wedding and disco dance party was just awful. The music was terrible. Taking off from I guess Yavin? and the special effects were better in 1977.
So when do we get new episodes?
And, yes, they have a lot of storylines going on.

I think maybe with Bee being so old and not functioning all that well, they will transfer his parts into the imperial droid that becomes the K2 we all love.
That’s my theory at least.

Well... that was very... Disney. They know how to frick up a franchise. The fricking wedding guests had more screen time than the star of the show.

I don't think I like 3 episodes at a time for release, and it is mainly for discussion purposes. I felt like I had to avoid this thread until I watched all 3. So, most of the items from the first 2 episodes will not get discussed because most people will discuss the latest events to theorize what happens going forward.
I thought these episodes were ok, but I expect them to improve. I love Luthen doing what he has to do and building on his speech from last season by telling Mothma that she's lucky she doesn't know what he is talking about. Next scene, a member of the rebellion is driving home the risk to the operation.

Mon Mothma doing shots and shaking arse at the rich people space rave was amazing.

If you mean in the wheat field, I think he did.

Never thought I’d hear the word rape, or see a rape fight in Star Wars.
Thanks Disney. That was really necessary.

The whole wedding and disco dance party was just awful. The music was terrible. Taking off from I guess Yavin?
The music was a techno-pop variation on the Andor theme, not sure how you'd miss that.
And the whole purpose of her dancing like that was obvious... that was a "I'm gonna get drunk and dance because I hate myself" moment. She knew everything that was happening was by her own doing. She sold her daughter to a gangster to cover her money. She knew her friend that helped set that up for her, because he had some puppy love feelings for her, she had to have him killed because he was weak and could expose everything. Her husband's speech about how life is fricked and you try to find what happiness you can- she fricked him over with the gambling scheme. She just went into "frick it all" mode by the end of the festivities.

Was that what his issue was? I thought they were implying that he was mad that everyone was doing well that was involved except for him. That's why Luthen kept saying to give him the number he wants to satisfy him financially? Maybe I'm just forgetting something from season 1.
