I put this up there with the great miniseries ever created. It has become a sort of annual tradition for me to re-watch during the 4th of July season.

That should be required viewing in Schools

Paul Giamatti is one of the most watchable actors I've ever seen. I've seen Cinderella Man twice in 3 days just because of him

I’ve always wanted to watch it, where can I stream? Thanks

Should be required viewing for every high school in America.

I love it. Read the book and 1776 by McCullough.
Both are outstanding.
Another guilty pleasure is the 1776 musical.

isn't the actor who played Feeny also in 1776 the musical?
just to bring this all together

Yes he is. good singer.
Perfect little annoying SOB to play Adams.
And Holling the bartender from Northern Exposure is in it as well. He is awesome in 1776.

Yes, and Giamatti is a good singer as well. See: The movie "Duets".

The scene portraying the final passage of the Declaration, followed by the complete silence of the delegates after the resolution passed is some of HBO's best work. Which is saying something.

One of my favorites. I need to stop procrastinating and read his Washington bio.

He doesn’t have a Washington bio

That should save some time.

Great series… the scene of Giamati defending the British military members was as good as acting gets.
