Anyone having issues right now with some of their streaming apps on their TV?

Have an LG OLED TV and after restarting/clearing cache we can’t get Prime or Hulu to play anything. Rebooting the router and same issue.
Max works ok, YouTubeTV is fine.
Just curious if anyone else was having the issue.

Prime bit the dust here-no joy upon reboot yet

Last night at around the time you posted this, I was looking for something on Hulu and had a similar issue.
Can't recall exactly what it said, but there was an error accessing content, it logged me out, and I couldn't get back in.
Checked it a few hours later and all seems to be working fine.
As a side note, I randomly went through something like this on Apple TV (the streaming device) a few weeks ago and tried the steps you mentioned to no avail. After a good bit of searching I found a suggestion to remove the wi-fi login credentials from the device, then add it back.
Not sure what that did or why, but that fixed an ongoing issue. I'm assuming it has something do with deleting the DNS records that were pointing wrong somewhere, maybe, or some other type of network cache like you mentioned? Anyway, worth a shot on your TV if you keep having issues.

Yeah, I'm still having issues with the following apps today:
- Netflix
- Prime
- Hulu
Max is still good. As is YouTubeTV. Our TV is wired so I might need to unplug it from there (the SO restarted the router last night as well).

Hulu was down last night for a little while.
I have a crazy problem with MAX. It logs me out every day on my Apple TV. I have to delete the app, sign back in and authenticate it on the ipad MAX app. Whole process takes less than 2 minutes, but it's annoying.
On top of that, I can't get MAX to work on any Roku box in the house (same process still gives me an error) or Smart TV. But it does work on game consoles. I think it has something to do with having the service through YoutubeTV that's triggering the login issues.

Didn't watch either of those apps last night, kids were locked in on D+ with no problems.
When I do have the problems, I have to go to my apps settings (Samsung TV) and reinstall the app. Never had to go beyond this for troubleshooting

So we ended up trying different connections (even down to my iPhone hotspot) to no avail.
Ended up doing a factory reset on the TV and now we can't download the User Agreement so it's basically a fricking brick. Tried different connections (Wifi and Wired) and it's throwing a "server error".
The TV is only a year old so this is frustrating. Thankfully we got the warranty on it so we're probably going to end up having to call someone out. Every other device in the house is working on the internet (Wifi and wired) so we don't believe it's that. Even tried to change the DNS on the TV and it didn't work either.

Was having buffering issues if I was streaming while kids were gaming, etc.
Realized the cable guy put Cat 5 cable from wall to router.
Changed it out to Cat 7, and now everything is lightning fast,

I would get random errors thrown on MAX in the middle of watching content, and again this is stupid, but I believe I finally managed to correct it by replacing the HDMI cable between the Apple TV box and the TV proper.
The MAX app is a POS that uses some sort of non-standard codec, HDMI check, maybe something incompatible with CEC, but something, and it is generally ridiculous.
Even though the cable I was using was relatively new and worked elsewhere, it still caused an issue until it was replaced.
Can you test it with any smart-enabled device like the TV itself? In other words, open the app natively without any cable or box (if possible) in the chain at all, to rule all of those out.

Hmm, yeah, that almost sounds like a network card in the TV itself might be borked.
Could just be a random thing, or did you have any sort of voltage spike on the ethernet for some reason, being that it was hardwired? Any other hardwired accessories acting weird? (I know you said they weren't, but not sure how many you checked.)

The SO has ordered a replacement cord just to make sure it's not an issue with the cord. That'll come tomorrow.
SO's work desktop is hardwired and isn't having any issues.

Looks like there is an additional suggestion about disabling IPv6. Worth a shot...

Yeah, I tried that and it didn't work. I found a YouTube video that has similar with a couple of extra steps that I'll try later.

This is weird.
This was happening last night on my sony.
I thought it was the internet being bogged down, but i tried it on my phone and it worked fine.
I ended up unplugging the power cord and let it sit for a minute then plugged it back in. Everything worked after that.
Mine just needed a hard reset.
The apps on the tv would load, but when i would hit play on something it would just sit there with the buffering circle pretty much forever until I exited the app. The apps I was having problem with were Youtube, prime and pluto tv. I don't use the others.

We had trouble lately with Apple+ through our Vizio TV. We wanted to watch Severance last week, but couldn't get the app to work. The next day, it booted up with some difficulty and we watched The Gorge. Last night, tried to watch Severance again, same problem. We ended up watching it through the Roku Apple+ app.

So at this point we’re watching stuff through the XBOX, so it appears it isn’t an internet issue and definitely a TV issue.
paper, the SO suspects it could be the network card. We bought through Costco so it’s still under warranty.
