It reminds me of the book Saving Aziz by Chad Robichaux who was a marine Recon

Long story short, it’s about saving an Afghan interpreter and his family I’m assuming. I’m assuming Jake’s military character is in spec ops.
As I mentioned in the beginning, this actually occurred when marine recon Chad Robichaux saved his interpreter Aziz’s life and his family.
In addition to that, him along with Tim Kennedy and a team of other guys extracted tens of thousands of Afghans when our DOD and DOS did nothing (when the total drawdown happened in 2021)
It’s unreal what they were able to do
