I've enjoyed him in movies like Step Bros, the Other Guys, etc.. hadn't seen his standup other than for the Roast of Rob Lowe and thought meh.

He's pretty funny. He's like Danny McBride though in that he always plays the same character. McBride has a good bit more range, even in his pigeonholed style.

I'm kinda relieved to see so many people don't think he's funny. I figured I was odd man out on that.
He seems like a nice guy in interviews, but I've just never found him funny. His Rob Lowe roast appearance was so bad I had a difficult time believing he even thought it was funny and he was just doing what the writers told him to do.

I think he's funny in movies...he was pretty funny in The Hangover as the cop..."IN THE FAAAAACE"...and "Not you fat Jesus" are some pretty regular quotes I use.

And yet no one mentions his best role as Phil's realtor nemesis in Modern Family. I'm not a fan of Riggle, but his role in Modern Family is perfect.

I thought he was funny in Step Brothers and The Hangover. I've tried to watch him on Fox NFL Sunday and it's painful
