The new host is ok but he’s no Wil Willis

Some of this twists this season have been outrageous. The episode with the clock turned off was madness. The poor girl couldn’t even get a tang or handle on her blade.

Still a great show, really enjoy the craftsmanship

I just started watching this show a couple months ago. I've seen all the episodes available on Hulu and Netflix except the judges ones.

I do enjoy the show. I first got into it from Youtube videos of finales but I really enjoy the first round the most now, just to see what goes wrong and how people solve it. Lots of good problem solving

yes great show

they should leave the format alone and limit the gimmicks because if the shite they do prevents them from finishing blades then it takes away from the show.

i rather see all blades turned in for testing, leave the gimmicks for things that dont prevent them from finishing blades unless they frick up their own work

I checked out once Wil left. I couldn’t stand the new host, and the show kinda got stale for me I guess.

I had never really known about the show, but me and the ole lady stumbled across it one day and loved it. And we watched it for weeks (it airs all the damn time ). Then I started recording new episodes.

I’ve caught it here and there since Wil left but generally don’t watch it anymore. It was a cool arse show though.

ETA: it did annoy me when they tried to retcon Doug’s saying as “KEEL” instead of “kill” though.

Will Willis left officially to spend time with his new born. Unofficially, it's because he is a Trumpy anti-masker who was posting shite on social media...

The early episodes with the new host were rough, but I think he has found his groove.

Watched episode 24 last night and it was maybe the best episode in the entire series.

The first round produced some of the best blades I’ve seen in round 1, the twist with the builders choosing blade style and handle material was great, and the final 2 blades were just stunningly beautiful.

Awesome craftsmanship this episode
