Just finished the one on Laci/Scott Peterson recently and it was insanely interesting. I never knew too much about the case, but I figured the dude was guilty as shite. I’m not saying he didn’t do it, but I have no clue how the hell he got convicted. I know how biased some of these docs are (making a murderer, guilty as frick btw), but after further research I just don’t see how he was found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

I have no idea if he was guilty but how he got convicted is as simple as a very pretty pregnant (if I am remembering correctly) got murdered.

Right or wrong, he was gonna have to prove his innocence.

i feel you, but i mean casey anthony murdered her adorable little daughter and still beat the case. there was more solid evidence against her than Peterson IMO.

i truly don’t know if he did it or not which is why it’s so interesting. but that investigation was botched hard by the police, and the prosecution did a shite job proving anything. didn’t matter to the jury though.

Being a pretty young woman has exculpatory qualities in a lot potential jurors minds.

Look at the Teacher/student sex cases where it is an attractive woman vs. a homely one.....or a man.

I think Scott Peterson was involved to some degree but they had enough reasonable doubt that he shouldn't have been convicted. It's one of those cases where everyone knows he did it, they just don't know exactly how. But they convict anyway, which isn't a good thing.

Peterson’s own voice convicted him. The calls with the blonde were damning. Then he is found with died hair and a bag of cash 10 miles from the Mexican border.

Definitely echoing Evil Genius. That was an incredible doc and I had no idea it went that deep.

Came here specifically say Evil Genius. It's one of my all time favorites. shite is insane.

Also like American Murder on Netflix. A little slow, but the payoff is worth it. Crazy shite.

Making a murderer is such an opposition of many sides. 1. Terrible police, 2. Terrible person, 3. Loaded narrative

The one that I don't think is on hulu/netflix, but to watch as a follow as a long story is the West Memphis Three. Both docs/RL spanning 25+ years.

ETA: It's not one doc or show. HBO started with Lost Paradise doc many moons ago.
