but I know the long wait between seasons is going to be a bitch
How long is the gap between seasons? I don't know why, but I thought it was a full 12 months. No way that's the case though... right?

Right now, AMC has Season 2 slated to begin in "Early 2016." My guess is around the same time as this year, which was Feb. 8th.

Doesnt make sense. Chucks death would create martyrdom. In that event what would prevent Jimmy from becoming an associate at HHM? or what would trigger "Saul"?
I think theyre gonna get some more mileage out of chucks character. and hes gonna become increasingly despicable

I think Chuck grows into a monster, he has the ability to be purely evil while towing the legal line.

Jimmy's never gonna be an associate at HHM. He's about to get his Jew on.

Yeah I can't see Chuck being killed so quick. He's going to get his swag back. I wouldn't be shocked if he tries to cheat Jimmy out of the tentative deal.

Yeah, this isn't like The Walking Dead where we can expect deaths in a finale.
But who the hell knows! I expect it to be a great finale and have us immediately counting down the days until season 2 premieres.

If Chuck croaked and Jimmy had that $20mm suit in hand you can bet your arse he'd be an associate
But yeah of course its not gonna happen that way

I'm not looking forward to this season already ending.
Damn it was good drama.

Its impressive this show has successfully followed up BB.
It was sooooo primed to flop considering the BB expectations.

Chuck will get his swag back.
HHM will take over the suit, POSSIBLY giving Jimmy his up front money.
Chuck will blackball Jimmy from any "real" attorney work in ABQ, thereby forcing Jimmy to remain in the "ambulance chaser and old folk home" mode, eventually to get involved with Tucco again through Mike's connection.

I loved BB, I loved Saul's character from BB, I love Bob Odenkirk, and Vince G.
But if any show, spun off of a BB character had all the makings of a flop it was Saul.
You had Gus, Jessie, Hank, even Walt (early Grey Matter years) on paper all seemed more interesting than Saul. Gilligan is a goddamn genius. And to think this whole show started out as a joke in the BB writers room.
Vince G., Peter Gould, and Odenkirk are a great team, they have great supporting actors/actresses and Bob is vastly underrated as a talent.
What a show, AMC struck gold...again.
