I'm not going to lie, but it's definitely frustrating.

But you KNOW that it's worth it with a show like this. There are no fillers and the story and character development consistently progresses. I'd be happy as f* with a 12 episode season, but the payoff will be worth it.

I disagree. There is nothing I would change about this show.

Yeah, not that this will be mentioned but the firm has AT LEAST a 10 million Key Man life policy on Chuck

Is it weird to simultaneously be glad Chuck's storyline is gone, yet still believe Michael McKean deserves an Emmy?

I'd say the visceral response Chuck induced from us all is a big reason why he deserves that Emmy

My favorite Chuck lines are when he said "you're muddying the waters" and of course the " one after Magna Carta". Those lines just nail that character.

frick that ending!!! Those bastards.

???? That ending was perfection. One of the best scenes across both series.

Just finished the season. What a great show.
Spoilers:
I just realized Mike wasn't even in the last episode..
And why wasn't Hector using the cousins as muscle when meeting with Gus and Bolsa?

Oh hell no, it is a long wait now to see Chuck dead. I am ready for them to get on with it as well, do not drag this out with filler.

Just re-watched the show and its absolutely amazing how far Chuck falls from his opening scene to the final scene. A fabulous, but annoying character.

The cousins are more hitmen than negotiators.
Killing Gus and Bolsa would end Hector and start a cartel war. Not exactly anything anyone wants

I suspect we will get a time jump early part of next season. Probably somewhere close to when Jimmy is about to get his license back.

It's frustrating. Interesting to think that David Lynch churned out 22 episodes for the second season of Twin Peaks (after a short Summer layoff) and is committed to 18 episodes this season. I think it's mainly a business decision for the cable networks and show creators to limit their investment while having time to build demand and critical hype.

They were used for intimidation last season against Mike and several times during Breaking Bad

Absolutely and I think he hated himself for caring about Jimmy so much.
Chuck said what he did to set Jimmy free.

Don Hector did not know that Gus was going to be there. He just thought he was meeting with Bolsa. Bringing the twins would not have intimidated Bolsa, and Don Hector isn't dumb enough to try to kill him.

so sick of Chuck and his story line.
I hope his arse is toast. Worst character of the series by far. Always got a feeling of disappointment every time he came on scene.

I totally disagree with this. I was tired of his story line but I think he was a great character and played perfectly by Michael McKean.

Intimidation != negotiation
so you're gonna put the cousins on Juan Bolsa who doesn't have any say over what Don Eladio's decisions are?
So what's Bolsa gonna do? Say he'll ask Eladio again? So that Eladio can come back and just pop Hector?
