Brandon Routh looks amazing as Kingdom Come Superman

I know there's a separate thread but I felt this deserved its own one.
Hero Uniforms on the CW shows are hit or miss and when they're good, they're good. But holy hell this one is absolute fantastic quality and is something I can see in a live action movie.
Can't wait for the Big Crisis on CW this December. They have me hyped.
So happy Brandon Routh is getting a second chance to do Superman justice even if it's on the small screen. He got a raw deal with that crappy script pedophile Bryan Singer thought was a good idea.
And here's a side by side shot of doing Alex Ross art justice. Only thing that's missing is his face being lowered down.
If there's one constant about DC TV and DC movies, they honor the hell out of classic poses.
UPDATE: 12/5/2019
This one is just absolutely amazing to see and stays true to the the fact that Kingdom Come Superman is the most powerful version of Superman and can just about slap any other version of Superman like a bitch.
A good pose....

Despite that movie being less than stellar, I always enjoyed Routh as Supes
Side note, that film is so slow it’s the perfect falling asleep movie

Christopher Reeves was the best looking Superman. Still I find the character boring and uninspiring.

I admit, part of the fun in waiting for the series is seeing the various costumes the guest stars are going to be wearing. I'm interested in seeing what they come up with for Huntress from the Birds of Prey series.

I said it in the Crisis thread.
The Supes being Supes scenes in Returns are very well done and the plane rescue scene is the best Superman action scene ever put on film.

Brandon Routh looked the part better than most Supermans, though Superman 1 and 2 with Reeves is still the GOAT.

He would've been amazing as Kingdom Come Superman.
Just old enough, just fit enough and has the mature gravitas to carry the role.

I don't watch any of those CW DC shows, but I may give this Crisis arc a try. Looks pretty good. And I like Brandon Routh.
I imagine poor Brandon Routh has some horror stories about making Superman Returns with Bryan Singer and Kevin Spacey.

It would be really cool if they could somehow pull a few of the other movie actors into this like Zachary Levi as Shazam, Chris O'Donnell as Robin, or even Michael Keaton as Batman. Too bad budget limitations and the fact that it's a CW show make that unlikely. I find it interesting that the CW shows seem to do a far better job of incorporating a shared universe that also pays tribute to past iterations of DC characters than the movies do.
IIRC they made a movie about it
