In the middle of season 1. Been a while. Wife and I are watching through Ozark (which we both love), and it reminds us a bit of Breaking Bad. So I decided to watch the first few seasons again..

Knowing how everything turns out and the big character ark of Walter White, it's really interesting to watch it again and be able to see all the signs of the transformation from episode to episode I didn't pick up the initial watch years ago.

Didn't think I would like it as much the second go around, but man, it's still a really good show.

I've been meaning to re-watch this. I'm sure I'd pick up on a lot of stuff the second time around...

Just now at the End of Season three on my first watch, it is awesome, and I know one I will rewatch once a year.

I haven't rewatched the whole thing, but the experience of watching it every week live and then coming here to discuss it was great. The first couple of years there was one thread for the whole season. Those were the best threads on here for me.

I liked Better Call Saul better because there’s no faggy Walt, Walt Jr, and Skyler to ruin the show. For such a great show they really dragged it down a bunch. Breaking Bad gets immediately better when Saul is introduced.

I rewatched it over quarantine. I enjoyed it more during the second watch and wasn’t sure why though, but this might have been the reason. I was more in tune to his character development this last go round

Did you just say faggy?

IMO, seasons 1-3 were the best. The last few, things got off the rails.

Bro, its funny how your takes are always very differnt than anyone else.

I mean, its almost like you are doing it on purpose.

Season 5 was one of the best seasons of any show in the history of TV... Nothing off the rails about it.

I'm on S2E10 as I type. Last episode was when Walt and family got the news of the remission.

Just had the party for Walt. The scene with Hank and the tequila bottle at the party was the true beginning of Walt's transformation starting... when he bucked up to Hank at the party.

Yes, second watch through has been more fun to watch.

Just finished the Jesse giving Walt the "I lost everything because of you" speech when he was in the hospital after Hank whooped his arse.

Jesse losing everything wasn't Walt's fault. Jesse lost everything because he was using and high on meth all the time.

His parents, his girlfriend, etc. That's all on him, not Walt.

Which? The girlfriend?

I disagree. Walt shouldn't have even been there.

I guess you could say that when Walt was trying to wake up Jesse, the gf rolled over on her back, and then she started choking.

But I still put all blame on them using. Walt wouldn't have even been there if Jesse would've answered his phone for the big drop with Gus, but he was out from the heroin.

During this rewatch, I've grown to really dislike Jesse. Everything about him is annoying.

I'm sure this will get downvotes....
I've been around this board for years, through all the hating Skyler. But I think she has every right to be a bitch at Walt. Walt deserved it. But Skyler does have a annoying horse face.
