They almost fought right before blackwater. I think it would depend on the circumstance of the fight

I would reverse that myself. I would think the drunken tavern fight would go the way of the Hound in close quarters where Bronn can't maneuver.
Trial by combat, i would take Bronn when he can come up with a gameplan and outsmart Hound with space to move around.

A woman who is bigger than most men. The hound was also slowed down by a nasty infection and fever.

Sandor is a bad motherfricker. 7/10 times Sandor takes it. He has a lot of size and strength on this side. They both probably have about equal battle smarts. Strength is difficult to overcome.

Unless the Hound is drunk, I think The Hound would slaughter him. The Hound is more than willing to play as dirty as he does, and he's much more vicious. If the Hound is drunk in the battle, I'd take Bronn.
