Charles Correll and Freeman Gosden, in blackface, in the roles of Andy and Amos, respectively, which they had created for the radio show.
I was surprised to discover this movie. There is a notice that this is presented for historical value and features depictions that are objectionable.

There was a similar warning added to Dumbo & Lady and the Tramp

When's the last time you saw an Al Jolson movie? He did most of his work in black face.
I never could understand the flack that the old "Amos & Andy" TV show got. It was putting the entire cast of black actors to work on a weekly TV series and I'm sure none of them were happy to see their careers go down what passed for the PC tube back then.

----The irony is the NY chapter of the NAACP badgered CBS to cancel the show, over the objections of the all-black cast, and CBS obliged.

I used to watch the show in the afternoons when I got home from school as a kid. It was one of my favorites. George "Kingfish" Stevens was always trying to figure out ways to dupe his friend Andrew "Andy" Brown.

I've only seen one episode, but it was pretty funny, with a classic premise:
Amos and Andy - "The Vacation Show"

After the Kingfish blows the entire family vacation budget, Calhoun helps him dupe Andy into believing he's paid for a cross-country camper trip, when in reality he never leaves Central Park.
