Glad to see it's not just me. I yelled at the TV the first time his commercial aired, and my wife said "they must be right, because they would have researched it, etc." I asked her to google the phrase "fortune favor the" and the first hit was "bold".
Even if the writers didn't know better, Matt Damon should have.

The Amazon Prime commercial with Medusa. Some DBag at a BAR winks at her friend from across the bar and he deserves to die and turned into stone?

Here in the Atlanta market, there's a company called Pinnacle Home Improvement, and apparently someone thought it clever to put what I can only assume is the owner's granddaughter in all their commercials.
While that isn't uncommon, this little girl deliberately mispronounces Pinnacle as "Pick-a-nul", and proceeds to correct anyone who says it correctly. "That's what I said, Pick-a-NULL."
I hate that kid.

The one where the chick goes into a car dealership and asks for help and everyone completely ignores her.
Then she put a puppet on her hand of a man asking for help and everyone rushers towards her.
It bothers me bc they are simply pandering but they have it wrong. Single female in a dealership is like blood in the water for sharks. They would be sprinting to take advantage of her.
