I’ll take a movie where people have kinky sex after getting in car wrecks over a tone deaf race bait lecture that has all of the subtleties of a jack hammer.
Also Crash 96 has a scene where James Spader fricks a woman’s bullet wound.

I've only seen the 2005 one, not the 1996 one. But I can fairly confidently say that there is very little chance the 1996 one is worse than the 2005 one. That was a bad, bad movie.
