***Don't Spoil me bro***

Did you notice when Deb and LaGuerta were talking about how Lundy said he always thought the Bay Harbor Butcher worked for the police. LaGuerta made sure to say he, or she may still be alive and killing. And then it seemed like she noticed Deb was trying to hide something when she wanted to take the pictures back to her office and look through them.

Anybody think LaGuerta maight mistakingly think Deb is the Bay Harbor Butcher and come after her? Either way I don't think LaGuerta survives the season and that makes me

She's never been a fan of Deb so if she gets some kind of instinct leading that way she won't hesitate, IMO. I think both Quinn and LaGuerta die.

I don't know if LaGuerta thinks its Deb but its plausible.

I definitely don't think LaGuerta's making it out of this season alive.

Quinn is definitely out the door. He is too involved with the Ukrainians to get out alive.
I was thinking the exact thing when I watched the current episode Sunday night. Deb is definitely showing signs of suspicion. Dexter is probably going to intervene and kill LaGuerta which will unify him and Deborah more. Just my thoughts.

I haven't cared for Quinn from the getgo (I'm making that a single word). I think LaGuerta makes it one more season. Quinn is a dead man. I'm wondering if blondie killer chick goes after somebody Dexter knows or a total stranger. I have a feeling she goes for Batista's sister. In one of the previews they show her popping up at Dexter's house - So I think it'a a definite possibility. That would give the writers an excuse to ship the kiddo out for the final season.

Reasonable theory but I don't think so. Deb quickly spoke up in support of Doakes as her partner and seemed sincere and LeGuerta seemed sincere in wanting to share her evidence and theory. I think LaGuerta is jealous of Deb as a younger more genuine and competent rival but she trust's Deb's instincts/insight.

A logic diversion might be to suggest that Travis planted the slide of his own blood in a final act of desperation to frick with the police. Maybe come up with some fake evidence that suggests that Travis admired God's work through the Butcher in his retribution against evil.

I think it's more likely they set up dead Louis to be the butcher.

Yea, that works with the "it's a police insider" theory.

Not really, Louis wasn't a police insider until last season

But it has been established that he had a fascination with serial killers long before that.

ETA:

Also that he had the time and money to work from home doing whatever he felt like doing... and that he was a proficient enough hacker to get background on potential victims.

Excellent detective work Sherlock.

ETA: I think Laguerta lives.

Good point, and they may take it there who knows. It does seem like they went out of the way to develop Louis's character to just kill him off and have him be pretty much pointless. Unless the point was I you get involved with Dexters other life you die (unless you're shitty Lumen )

Dexter saved LaGuerta's arse from Miguel Prado back in season three for suspecting.

No way he takes out LaGuerta for doing her job, it's not his style.

LaGuerta would have to do something heinous to merit a killing from Dexter.

shite, Dexter couldn't even bring himself to kill Doakes who fricking hated him.

The only way LaGuerta gets whacked is by something outside of Deb and Dexter.

Moreover, if Dexter were to off LaGuerta, I would see that as pushing Deb away from Dexter and not unifying them.

Which leads one to believe it will be Deb who doesn't make it out of the season alive.

There's no way Deb gets killed off. Their dynamic is central to the show.

No... but I don't think she played as central a role. So far the only person that has had any real influence on "Dexter gonna Dexter" is Deb. I could see her getting whacked in the final season, but not this one. How's that for a compromise.
