Yeah, this made no sense. Heather, Heather, HEATHER! You were tied to a chair getting cut on before Daredevil smashed through the window. You were also bleeding out on the ground before Daredevil performed triage. At what point did you save yourself?

Yep, now I don't care if she dies.

Also why would Matt risk his life for Fisk? Whoever wrote these last few episodes has some explaining to do

If you don’t get why Matt saved Fisk then you don’t understand the character of Matt Murdock/Daredevil even a little bit. They even said it in the episode.

Has anyone seen the “leaked” photos of S2? Some really interesting stuff in there. Even some leaked photos from this season might mean some things

I'm giving the new writers a lot of grace. If it wasn't for the performances of Cox and D'Nofrio I would have checked out about episode 4, but I know they were dealt a bad hand and there have been flashes of really good stuff throughout the season.

Still, it feels like they have a destination in mind for the last episode and are forcing things to happen. Heather just going full anti vigilante? Matt saving Fisk? Vanessa unceremoniously killing Adam?

What does any of that serve? What's the payoff?

Feels like the new team just wants to bury every non essential plot line and start fresh next season.

Maybe I'm giving them too much credit but I feel they just want to kill off everyone but Matt, Fisk and Frank.

This entire season could have been condensed into a 90-minute episode

I wonder if we get the Punisher special prior to S2

Sensational final episode.

I think season 2 has the potential to just be on another level with the setups. Daredevil, Punisher, and Kingpin fricking rule man.

I love the direction they are taking Mayor Fisk.

This shite is insane

Considering Matt said “I have no idea why I did it” when asked directly, you may be a little off here.

Matt doesn’t fully understand his own selves, neither of them. But his automatic reflex is to help others at his own expense, however painful it will be.

Best episode was tonight. Frank’s post-credit scene was nice.

I'm not. Just because Matt doesn't understand doesn't mean we as the reader/watcher can't. CCT above me is 100% correct. Matt saying he doesn't know why he did it just pushes our point home even further.

I'm just gonna assume it's because Matt doesn't enjoy killing?

I'd like my hour back after watching that ridiculous bank episode. Overall, this series was terrible.

Finale was better, but that's endorsing dried shite because it isn't as potent as freshly laid shite.

It's still shite.

I think it's multifaceted. The biggest reason that's in line with this show, the Netflix show, the comics, etc is that Matt believes that life is not anyone's to take, that justice is served through the court of law. Fisk's life isn't Bulleyes to take. Matt has proven on multiple occasions that he will set down his life for someone elses.

and a very in the moment reason is Matt realizes that it was Vanessa that ordered the hit, not Fisk. Fisk wasn't responsible for what happened to Foggy and therefore did not break their deal. Matt also I'm sure recognizes that Dex escaped as a result of Matt himself. So Matt does not want to be an accessory to Fisks murder, morally or legally, but that Vanessa is also more dangerous if Fisk isn't around.

First off, great final episode. I agree overall it wasn't as good as the best Netflix seasons, but I will take it for sure. And

Daredevil likes hurting people, Matt wants the courts to dispense justice. Daredevil's character has always been about balancing the Devil's violence and vengeance with Matt's belief in the legal system and the scales of justice.
