I liked Season 1, but never started Season 2. Is it worth it, or does the show go downhill?

Season 2 isn't nearly as funny as season 1, but it has a fantastic ending. Surprisingly very emotional. One of the better endings to a season of a comedy show that I've seen. Overall not as good though. Season 3 bounced back. Still not as funny as season 1 but definitely worth watching.

yea I loved season 1 and then got 3-4 episodes into season 2 and was just like , "what the frick are they doing and why do I hate everyone?" and I lost interest

This. The setup/payoff is fantastic in this series. The rich character backgrounds and growth we get is leagues above most “comedy” series. The final punchline of Season 3 absolutely killed me. It was so well set up from episode one.

Not new music though, just that auto tuned bullshite from the show. That works for the show but as an album, no thanks. I want some legit original songs from LD.
And for whoever asked, S2 is good but there are some WTF moments and one episode that is legitimately awful (on purpose). But it’s still solid. And S3 was excellent IMO.
I’m all for no S4 if it means he gets back in the booth and puts out new music.

I’m saying they are more or less just dialogue driven autotunes as opposed to legit songs. It’s what he leaned heavily into on the show. And I enjoyed them on the show. But I’d much rather get a new LD album with actual songs on it rather than just retooled song portions from the show.
