Yeah, I get that her character is a teenage girl and teenage girls are annoying and fricking stupid (a lot of the time)
And while yes, I know her character is meant to be annoying, it's the stupid face she always has on. The mouth-breathing, the utter dumbface, the goofy arse way she runs. It's all horrible and she's my new least favorite character.

So they casted the character perfectly and she is killing in her role as Debbie. Check.

I actually think the acting by her, Ian, and Carl have somehow gotten worse as they've gotten older somehow.
I actually like Debbie's character when she was younger. And you're right, she's supposed to be the naive and rebellious teenager but Christ, everything she has said to Fiona in seasons 5-6 have been said as a smartass and sometimes there is no reason behind it.

The whole kid storyline made me want to punch her in her face. On the other hand, it was a perfect storyline to show how the cycle of poverty continues through these families for generations.

Don't forget Diane Chambers who was so bad she ruined an entire season of one of the greatest shows ever created and who was so bad that she ruined one of the great characters in TV history for a time in Sam Malone. fricking hated Diane Chambers.
