Haven't seen a thread on this show yet. First episode released last night December 15th.
Overall I thought it was pretty solid. Show starts with Dexter about to graduate college and figuring out what he wants to do with his life, and of course his first kill.
Is Deb meant to be a hated character? I couldn't stand her in the original and the young Deb is equally as annoying with her over the top anger and cursing.
I'll definitely keep watching this one, seems like it's going to more entertaining than the last installment with Dexter's son.

I don't see it lasting more than one season honestly. It's basically just Dexter rebooted with the younger people. But still probably better than half the garbage that comes out these days.

The show is literally Dexter’s life flashing before his eyes as he’s dying after being shot. Setting up the return of real Dexter.
