Does anyone remember a crappy 90's movie staring Sinbad as a genie?

This came up in the ot last night.
I remember this movie showing a million times on showtime or cinemax when I was a kid. There are a lot of other people who also remember a Sinbad genie movie. This is where it gets strange. No such movie exists or any evidence of it.
It is one of those Mandela, Berenstain Bear type deals. Some people seem to think we are confusing it with Kazaam, which is not the case. I have known exactly who Shaq was since I first saw him bounce a basketball. So I ask the movie board, Do any of you seem to remember a genie movie starring Sinbad?

I don't think most of them are lying. If you ask almost anyone who doesn't know about the Berenstain controversy they say Bernstein 100% of the time.
I am telling you I remember a Sinbad genie movie and it has been messing with my mind ever since I read that thread last night.

I think it's easy to picture him as a genie because of the freaking costumes he wore in his standup.
The Berenstain Bear thing is silly. My sister brought it up to my mom, who was motivated to dig up the old books and see that, in fact, it was always Berenstain.

Exactly. When I see Sinbad that was always what popped into my mind first, and now it seems that it doesn't even exists. This has been bugging the crap out of me for 24 hours now.

Maybe it's because his name is Sinbad that you guys just assume homeboy wore a glittery turban at some point.
