Does Justified have the worst opening credits song ever?

Just started watching it finally. Solid show so far but my god...this opening song is some sort of gross rap / bluegrass hybrid.

It grew on me after a while . . . It is different but I took it to be appropriate for the region the show takes place.

Hate the song...the show redeems itself by ending each season with a different rendition of Darrell Scott's "You'll Never Leave Harlen Alive"

It's terrible. The dichotomy between how terrible the opening song is and how great the show is is really fantastic.

It's far from my favorite intro but Justified is a show about trashy Kentucky outlaws doing trashy Kentucky outlaw things (and then getting their arse whupped up on by Raylan), all set to some of the best written dialogue around. I thought the song kind of fit.

Great show. One of the best on TV for its time and still solid any way you look at it. And while I agree the song with the opening credits isn't a great song, it's absolutely perfect for the show.
