Love that one. GOOOOOOOOOLD GOOOOOOOOOLD
I think I have the whole thing on VHS because our grandma recorded it back in 1989 or so. The commercials are included. ITs awesome.
This was good too.

The lamp movie was good, but the Treasure of the Golden Suns was epic! It holds many great memories for me (sniff sniff...my mom and I watched it together, happily, two years before she died...sniff sniff).
I no longer have a VCR, or I would I ask to borrow it! I would love to see the commercials.

Its fun to see them trying to sell the 1989 FORD RANG, RANG, RANGERRRRRRRR!
Also, the old school I love what you do for me, TOYOTA! commercials.
Sorry for the derail. There were Ducktales DVDs available that I bought too, Golden Suns not included?

I see they decided to break up the movie into 5 single episodes. I guess that would be OK. I would to see it as an actual movie, though! Thanks!

Considering it was a made for TV movie, 5 episodes is probably an improvement over how many commercial breaks it probably had when it originally aired.

Ducktales was BY FAR the best of the Disney Afternoon. The Treasure of the Golden Suns story was fantastic. I wish more of the Ducktales episodes would have been them doing some Indiana Jones shite like this.

The four parter where Scrooge and Glomgold competed to see who was the richest duck in the world was pretty epic too.
I really need to own these.

I hate you...
Only cause you made me remember the good times as kid. And how much time has passed. *sigh*

I had the Duck to the Future one on VHS. That one was always my favorite. I wish I still had a VCR cause I still have all the tapes.

I've had a craving to watch some Ducktales & Tail Spin for some time now.
They are both so nostalgic

I loved Treasure of the Lost Lamp as a kid. I actually just got it for free from Disney Movie Rewards.

I see DT's thread was revived! I never got around to buying the DVD. I know that ToysRus carries it, though!
