I saw the one with Matt Dillon, Steve Zahn, and Christina Applegate...which has a few funny scenes but is nothing great.
I haven't seen the one with Jessica Simpson, Dax Shephard,Andy Dick, and Dane Cook....and probably never will...BUT MY QUESTION IS-
Why would they release 2 similar comedies with the exact same title less than 2 years apart?

I've only seen the Dane Cook one. I don't remember much about it, but I do remember not hating it like I figured I would.

I found the Dane Cook version suprisingly ok. I figured that it would be ridiculously awful, but I came out of it moderately pleased. If comedies like Old School and The Hangover get A+ ratings, then I would give it a low B- to C+.
As far as why they would release two same-named comedies within a few years of each other... that's Hollywood.

I prefered the Blown Away from 1992. Its hard to top any movie that includes the Two Coreys.

Employee of the Month (Dane Cook version) is literally one of the worst movies I've ever seen.

1992 had some good sex scenes in it
