Dr.: How long have you had these pains, Mr. Barber?

Fletch: No, that's "Babar".

Dr.: Two B's?

Fletch: One B. B-A-B-A-R.

Dr.: That's two.

Fletch: Yeah, but not right next to each other. I thought that's what you meant.

Dr.: Arnold Babar. Isn't there a children's book about an elephant named Babar?

Fletch: I don't know. I don't have any.

Dr.: No children?

Fletch: No elephant books.

I thought it was Rosenfetus. Can we get something definitive on that?

Also, the argument about what he said to the guy in the mansion was always between "frickin' taco" and "open taco". Man, was I ever excited when I figured out just a few years ago that it was "Pup n Taco" - a now defunct southern California Mexican chain restaurant.

If you guys liked the Fletch movie I highly recommend the Fletch series of books by Gregory McDonald. The first Fletch movie was taken from the first Fletch book. The second Fletch movie was not taken from one of McDonalds books, and it was clearly inferior to the first movie.

Btw, Chevy Chase was perfect as Fletch. I can't read the books without picturing Chevy Chase as Fletch.

I thought Zach Braff was supposed to be the new Fletch.

And my favorite Fletch Alias was easily G. Gordon Liddy. "Don't tell me my business boy."

Either Fletch F. Fletch or Ted Nugent

From Fletch Lives its Elmer Fudd Gantry

I mostly just like the line, "spitting blood, pissin blood bleedin. I go through 5 of these suits a day."

I'll have a steak sandwich...and a... steak sandwich. Yes, and put that on the Underhill account.

Mr. Poon

Sugar, Mr. Poon?
No, never, never.

What kind of name is Poon anyway?
Scotch Comanche Indian
Strange combination.
You should have met my parents.

Uh, Freda lost the number of Alan Stanwyck’s realtor in Provo. Can I get that from you?
Sure, you mean Jim Swarthow.
Uh, yeah, right.
And who is Freda?
My secretary.
Who are you?
Freda’s boss.

Come on...you combined two different responses, Chevy would be rolling over in his grave and he ain't even dead yet.

He answered Comanche Indian to Poon and Scotch Romanian to John Cochtosten
