This looks.....really good and potentially important.
Interesting note...both Denzel and Viola played the same characters in the Broadway version of this and won Tony's for their performances.

One of my favorite plays.

Yeah, James Earl Jones owned that role. When I read the play in college, the image of Troy my mind conjured looked a lot like JEJ.

One of the greatest plays out there. Amazing it has taken this long for it to get the A list movie treatment. Looks like the entire Broadway cast is in it, too. From what I recall, Jones brought more intimidation and drama to Troy whereas Denzel plays it more akin to Herman Boone meets Alonzo Harris (Jones makes you sit in silence, Denzel will make you laugh uneasily)
