I don't think there's been any threads on Firefly Lane on Netflix, starring Katherine Heigl and Sarah Chalke as two girls who meet in high school in the 70s, and the story covers four decades of their friendship. The show follows the book and the story concludes at the end of Season 2. The last block of episodes was just released a few days ago. It was strong to the very end.

Firefly Lane features a constantly shifting timeline with scenes in the 70s, 80s, 90s, and early 2000s, so it's a peek at the shifting fashions of those time periods.

Any other fans of the show? Please no spoilers if you just watched the ending.

It’s a good show! I was hoping for a boob or two, but oh well. The writing is great.

Yeah not a dude show.

But a solid melodrama. There should be another season dropping this year. As with Virgin River if this is up your ally.

I’m all in tune with chick flick Netflix series since the alternative “together viewing” is usually HGTV.

Wife was crying like crwsy at finale last night. Said show better than book. Caught couple scenes here & there. Heigl's boobs looked good but didn't show.

I’ll usually jump in and watch period dramas (Sanditon, Guilded Age, Bridgerton, etc.) with my wife as I actually do enjoy them but virgin River and firefly lane are a bridge too far.

We like enough stuff together that having a few of our own series doesn’t cause too much drama.

I will say this, I add things to our list and she never does. I have never once gotten in trouble for watching something without her, but she starts stuff on our list without me and then gets shocked when I’m pissed about it regularly.
