Game of Thrones S5:E10:"Mother's Mercy", HODORS ONLY(No Book Readers)

"Mother's Mercy"--Stannis Baratheon commences his march; Daenerys Targaryen is encircled by a group of strangers; Cersei Lannister is able to overcome her sundry of emotions and appeals for forgiveness; Jon Snow confronts a life-changing challenge.
This is it, fellow Hodors. With the exception of "Hardhome"(which is probably the best or second best episode of the series), Season 5 of Game of Thrones has no doubt been the weakest (but still one of the best shows ever on TV). I don't think anything that happens in the finale can bump this season from the bottom (unless maybe Ned Stark comes back from the dead as a headless wight!--that would be AWESOME!
) As always, this season has flown by with the quickness. Somebody major will die this episode, although I don't know who it will be. I also think there is a possibility it will be an "untouchable". Add to that an almost "Who shot JR?"-level cliffhanger for the first time in this series. I just have a hunch, no proof, as I remain a HODOR to my core.
Bout damn time...I've taken less time to pay off car loans.
Hopefully they are all hot women and an epic "Orgy of Ice and Fire" ensues...
Much like her brother Tyrion, she can't escape unless she's out of the cell. Hopefully Maester Crazypants has something up his voluminous sleeve. As despicable as she is, Cersei needs to be alive and conspiring for this to be a great show.
This is either exaggerated like a HuffPo or Drudge Report headline, or understated like saying "Wun-Wun is a bit taller than average." This is the one that worries me, because of all the Olly shade-throwing that has happened this season.

Olly kills John Snow is my guess.

Olly might call his sword and Jon Snow might have to off the child but no way Jon Snow is going down this episode.
Life changing could be the Davos makes it back and talks him into riding south and abandoning his post? That's pretty life changing. He did have a profound effect on JS before or at least on the watcher for JS.

However, like Jun Snuh, I know nuthin. Hodor.
I hope Dany is the untouchable who dies and on her deathbed commands the Dragons to obey Tyrion.

Does anyone else see Cersei having a redeeming arc before the series is over?

Mother's Mercy kind of sounds like the name of a poison. Like something you would give to a person on hospice maybe? I dunno, just talking out of my arse. Those desert lesbians use poison a lot, maybe they try to poison Jaime or his daughter. They already got Bronn once. Plus Arya has that poison that was meant for the thin man.
Some other mothers on the show:
Gilly
Red Tits had the smoke baby.
Cersei
Dany, mother of dragons.
Sansa finds out she's pregnant and gives herself an abortion because it's Ramsay's baby? I think this would fit with the title pretty well.
Olenna is a grandmother.
Any others?

I think Mothers Mercy refers to Mother of the 7 new gods.

Sylese or whatever her name is...had a change of heart when her baby girl was burning at the stake...maybe she offs red tits? She seems more like the suicide type though
ETA: To Titus' point...I assumed it was Cersie's plea for forgiveness as well

I think it'll be like "The Children" episode where it was a summary of multiple story lines. (children of the forest, dany's dragons, tyrion and his father, etc.)
As for who will die I will say that Stannis has my vote

If it was Dany it would be Mhysa's Mercy.
Seriously, though there are a few Mothers it could apply too.
Maybe Waldena Bolton has mercy on dinner.

It could be a trick too. I don't see "mercy" as being a theme this last episode.
Maybe walda gets killed by Ramsey, assuring himself as heir.
Dany straight up murders some Sons of Harpy with her dragons.
In episode one of this season a young Cersie is told that all three of her kids will wear golden crowns and golden shrouds. Maybe one of her two remaining kids gets killed.
Gilly could get killed or kill the men who tried to rape her.
Of course Brienne is bound by oath to Sansas mother to keep her safe, maybe she saves her.
Maybe Selyse will kill Stannis or herself after her daughter was burned alive due to guilt or grief.
And of course the mother of the seven will play a part as well.
But who knows what will happen. Can't wait!

That was tough to watch. I wouldn't be surprised if they centered something crucial around that occurrence.

My bets:
1. Red woman's demon baby kills Lord Bolton
2. Stannis captures Winterfell
3. Ramsay tortured to death
4. Brawl in the Nights watch-wildlings camp forces Jon to make a decision about killing someone of the Nights Watch
5. Either Jamie or Oberyn's wife or one of her girls kills the King of Dorne, Jamie dies in the process
6. The crazy Maester finishes his work on The Mountain and unleashes him on those religious pricks, and Cersei, Margery, and others are freed
7. Dany has an uneventful conversation with Tyrion and Varys reappears with them

Was thinking the same thing. The kid stabs Jon and Jon has to execute him.
Edit: See FT's post above. I agree.

The high septon already referred to Mother's Mercy...it's when the person confesses and pleads for a lenient punishment.

yeah, y'all hate people who pay attention to the show, but not "fellow hodors" who get spoiler information then thinly disguise it as 'their thoughts'.
We are all caught up with each other. No need to be a dick.
