New Discovery reality show of a barefooted redneck who is trying to rid the everglades of the Burmese Pythons.... Catching them by hand, collecting the reward from the state then dicing them up for profit
Typical redneck reality show. Got one shaggy redneck, a few of his friends, a dog and a pretty hot chick with great cans....
Just started and is pretty entertaining. Catching some 15-20 foot pythons in the glades.

they will never eradicate them. They evolved to prosper in that environment.

I caught about 5 minutes of it before I had to check out
its more scripted than Swamp People and I wouldn't be surprised to learn they were letting pet snakes loose so they're easier to catch

I watch it. It’s hokie and too scripted but it’s mildly interesting to me because I live in south Florida.

Its big snake heaven there. The only way to get rid of them would be to pave over the entire Everglades... which kind of defeats the purpose.

I hated that part of it. Im interested in the snake wrangling so I watch but they do corn ball it up a bit
If that chick would change into a bikini, we would all watch her fight snakes
I promise you

So they have no natural predators. At some point they will run out of food. (Female egg clutches around 20 something eggs). Even the laziest HOA is going to legislate against feeding them people's pets.

The everglades has tons of food for them. I also do not believe they can "catch" them all. I think they will spread out past the everglades and create a big problem in Florida.
The show claims that when Andrew hit, it destroyed a breeding facility in Florida and they all go out.
Interesting that there would be a breeding facility in a area that they are not wanted. Why take the chance
