Delayed, at least.
I’m good if it gets the Batwoman treatment. Even though there’s no script.

why does it even matter to you if there's a script or the movie is delayed or cancelled. you wont watch it either way and you'll say it's the worst movie ever
I don't understand why you would care if a movie is delayed if you aren't gonna watch it no matter when it is released

Friendly reminder that Disney had 3 movies to make a "Rey movie" and didn't progress the character at all

“Because it has a woman as the lead ” is about the only answer you'll read no matter what I post.

Because screw Disney.

That link offered as much speculation as the video I posted in my OP. This project was publicly announced 18 months ago. You think by now there'd be a draft of a script that has been completed, but we haven't even heard anything on that score as of yet.

Well, it’s fun watching you cry.
And maybe it will encourage some change.

Did Chat GPT write that article? That article took 300 words to say absolutely nothing!!!
I will sum it up, It says it cant be delayed or canceled since Lucasfilm never gave any dates.
Garbage article for a garbage movie franchise.

You don’t seem to comprehend the battlefield of the American-style cultural revolution.
Sticking your head in the sand is one option, I suppose, but it doesn’t fit my American Southern Man personae.

They put themselves in a terrible spot when they announced this crap.
They can either cancel it, which will be embarrassing as hell, considering they've announced and cancelled a ridiculous number of projects in a short period of time and this would only add to that pile and demonstrate they have no idea wtf they are doing.
Or they can press forward and release it and have it be a major box office disappointment and perhaps set the franchise officially dead at the box office and in need of yet another reboot in say a decade or so.
The odds of them actually releasing it, it actually being good, and it actually doing big numbers at the box office is pretty close to 0.

Nah they can pull the Marvel strategy of ignoring it, changing graphics, and pretending it was just a fever dream.
Some online will call them out on it but the majority will be blissfully unaware this was ever a thing.

Because we are tired of watching a billion dollar company systematically destroy our beloved universe. When you are passionate about something, you don't want to see it continually beaten and ruined.
You seem to be passionate about the world being SJW, so I do understand why this opinion bothers you.

did i miss something where they made Rey gay or black?
or is being a female a SJW thing now?

At all.
I couldn't describe her to somebody using personality traits. She was completely cardboard.
