Couple get lost in the Canadian woods and husband attacked by a bear. Based on true story as well. The attack seen was gotdam brutal and overall, a pretty solid movie.

That bear attack scene in the movie is probably what I imagine it most realistically is like. That shite was haunting.

Also, I’ve always had a huge crush on Missy Peregrym

Why would anybody want to spend 1-2 hours watching a bear attack? Sounds like a waste of my precious time lol

It's not an second-by-second breakdown documentary of a bear attack. It's just a few minutes of the movie.

I watched this a year or two ago. It's a solid watch. That bear attack scene is pretty gnarly though. And it's surprisingly graphic/brutal. Like someone said, it almost feels like as accurate of a portrayal to real life as possible.

Movie sucks. Low budget and feels like it too.

In the actual true story, aren't the rolls reversed? She gets killed and he escapes?

So i should definitely watch this with the kids before our weekly road trip to the Rockies? Got it.

My parents used to binge Shark Week every year before we'd go spend a week in Grand Isle. Between that, and an incident where a shark attacked my stringer, I am permanently scarred.

meh, bears in the Rockies are pretty safe. the most dangerous place to be around black bears is probably the Smokies just because they are so accustomed to humans.

grizzlies up in Montana, Idaho, etc are a different story.

I've had bears outside of my tent in RMNP several times. We keep a clean campsite, so we never have problems.
