Watched it again the other day, haven't seen it in awhile. Written and Directed by David Mamet and starring Gene Hackman, Danny DeVito and Delroy Lindo, Ricky Jay and Sam Rockwell.
Simple, straight-forward, well-paced, and the dialog is....
I'm gonna be as quiet
as an ant pissing on cotton.
- Is he gonna be cool?
My motherfricker's so cool,
when he goes to bed,
sheep count him.
Well, you hot-walked
that dude the livelong day.
My only nitpicky complaint is they could've gotten a better actress for the chick. She was just alright. One of Hackman's last movies, hard to believe it's over 20 years old.

I love heist movies and this is one of my favorites another of my favorites from the same year is The Score.

Best line of the film, “Everybody needs money. That's why they call it money.”
Yeah, the director’s wife wasn’t getting squeezed out of his film.
For the record I really like Rebecca Pidgeon. There are a lot of people that complain about her though.

Just rewatched Mamet’s Spartan a few weeks ago for the first time in years. Might need to do a heist rewatch as well.

Ricky Jay
Edward Norton’s character gave Ricky Jay a shoutout in the Glass Onion. He claimed Ricky Jay designed the puzzle boxes containing the invitations.

I absolutely love this movie. Ricky Jay’s dialogue was awesome. The lines at the end of his character’s arc are some of the best of the movie.
