Since I’ve read the HoD content, I checked the link to see what the deviation is.
It’s not anything remotely serious. It’s a slight change of location within Westeros.

I wonder if people will be mad if they do stick strictly to the original source material. The ending was a little anticlimactic imo. Also, Joffrey, being the count that he is, completely spoils the HotD ending in season 3
