I hate Beth Dutton

Hope she’s a goner when this next season comes out. Hope that package blew her into smithereens.

I tolerated her at first, but she's god awful.

I started to watch the series when it first came out, but quit one episode in because her overacting ruined it. Recently watched the full series with my wife...I just bitched about that character every episode.

I don’t think it was her overacting. I think the show runners wrote her horribly. Absolutely no one would speak to people the way she does on that show, and the things she does defy all logic.

Come on now, yes she's over the top, but no way she's worse than Jaime. He overacts in almost every scene and is written as a spineless wimp. Plus, his jacked up teeth are just too distracting.
Beth is too much, but as you learn the reason for her being the way she is, between the death of her mother being seen as her fault, the last words her mother said to her, and then the reveal of why she hates Jaime so much, it's easier to understand her character.
I'm on the second watch because my wife decided she wanted to watch it and I'm noticing that all three children are not great actors. John, Rip, and Lloyd the Cowboy are the most believable and likeable characters in my opinion.

I agree that Beth is dramatic, sometimes annoying and an all around bitch.. But she ain't goin nowhere.

She makes it a point to be those things in every single scene she’s in.
Somehow, some way, I root for Jamie over Beth and he did one of the most despicable things one could ever do to a person to her. Yet I still dislike her more than him.

I don't hate her character at all, in fact I think she is great. Her and Jamie are so screwed up mentally they are vile evil people.
The one I cannot stand is Monica and Tate. I cannot believe the kid who plays Tate is the best they can find for that age.
I am ok with Tweeter because she isn't a major player, but is there anyone who likes the Tweeter character?

i kind of like her. In the beginning it was annoying but, now i find her funny.
she's useful in a fight and she has some pretty good lines.

Jamie is a believable character. Beth is one of the least believable characters of any show I’ve ever seen. She’s also probably the worst thing for the ranch, IMO. Want to ensure that everybody you go into business dealings with tries to completely frick you up the arse? Have Beth be the one that works with them.

I fricking love her. The above qualities are the exact reasons I do. Most women love her. That why there are shirts that say things like, "Sorta sweet, sorta Beth Dutton," or "You are the trailer park. I am the tornado!"
