If they ever make another Jack Ryan TV series...

I really wish they'd adapt the novels as they are instead of inventing new stories for the character and putting them into the Tom Clancy canon. Over the last year and some change I have read Patriot Games, Red Rabbit, The Hunt For Red October, Cardinal of the Kremlin, Clear and Present Danger, and The Sum of All Fears. I even got around to reading Red Winter, a novel set between Red October and Cardinal, that was written after Clancy passed away. Set in the 80s/90s, these stories would be great for television and would definitely go over well in our nostalgia-driven society.
