I only recently became aware of it and was surprised, since it's set in Louisiana. I'm assuming it must be pretty bad if it doesn't get much love on here. TIA

It's not set in louisiana, it's set Pennsylvania

I watched the first ep b/c of a recommendation. I had to try hard to get through it. Not really sure what people see in it.
Blue Mountain State...Set in LA?
Maybe filmed in LA.

I read that on Wikipedia. I thought it was weird due to the name of the school.
Check out the revision history of the Wikipedia page. I think someone was fricking around and had put Louisiana on there at some point.

I love the show, Thad makes it worth it every week.

I think it's a classic "hit or miss" show. I personally enjoy it, but I can see where many people wouldn't.

If you like fart and titty humor, then yeah, it's worth watching.

How does "Blue Mountain State" make any references to Louisiana? How many mountains do we have around here?
If you like scantily clad girls, and safe for cable sexual/party references, you should like it. FOr some reason, Thad makes me laugh. Maybe its the ridiculously high pitch voice he makes, or his serious delivery of some really dumb dialogue. Its only like 20 minutes long when you DVR it. Worth checking out.

Check my link. That's why I was confused. I had gone to the Wikipedia page and someone had put on there that it was set in Louisiana. I thought the name was weird and that nobody on here had ever mentioned that.

The team did play in the Cypress Bowl in Baton Rouge in the season 1 finale

Honestly? It's hilarious. You have to like very dumb humor and be basically a big child, but it's spectacular. Season 1 is much better than Season 2, though both made me pee myself.

i love it. its easy to watch. 20 minute episodes, so you can burn through both seasons in a week.
