Is Cobra Kai any good?

We just started it and I’m digging it so far.

ETA: sorry, that was my initial smart-arse response, but if you liked the original Karate Kid, grew up in the 80s, or have a human soul, then yes... you’re in for a treat IMO.

Seriously though it has been pretty fun throughout the first 2 seasons. They do a good job of bending the reality of current times to allow kids to beat the shite out of each other in school and whatnot. I thought it was great fun.

Just finished season one and am hooked. They do a great job of working the story lines. Make you realize that the movies in the 80s like KK, rocky, top gun, etc made kids want to be somebody. Now they just want to run around in capes and be a broom riding wizard. Sad.

Its good until Snake comes back.

We absolutely loved it, I wasn’t expecting much from but it definitely lived up to the hype it gets. My 7 year old son is still running around screaming Cobra Kai and throwing punches and kicks. I hope Netflix releases the 3rd season early next year and doesn’t make us wait.
