would mimi-siku (sp?) transition to new york/america/civilization/whatever have gone over much smoother had he visited post 9-11 as opposed to the mid-late 90's?
he probably wouldn't have a blow gun, bow and arrow, and other accessories he brought. then again, this may have been bad as he'd be in baboons loft bored out of his fricking mind with nothing to do except potentially eat the cat or be forced to hang out in the office with martin short all day long. discuss.

This is a little off topic but...Wasn't there a movie very similar to this move that came out right around the same time? I forget it's name, but I remember that happening.

i thought about this when tim allen gave him the lighter in the airport and showed him how to use it... now a days he would have been tackled and called a terrorist lol

what i dont get is why does baboon give him a satellite phone to bring back with him to his tribal land that doesn't have electricity?
